Setting up a new integration between your POS and accounting system? Now you can preview ledger entries before activating it.

We're introducing Ledger Preview for Syncs a powerful new feature that shows you precisely which ledger entries will be created, without writing any actual data.

Why Ledger Preview matters

Ledger Preview eliminates the risk and uncertainty that comes with activating new integrations. Instead of hoping your configuration is correct, you can validate it against real data before any transactions are written to your accounting system. The preview functions as a complete simulation of your data synchronization, showing every journal entry, debit and credit, and account assignment that would be created, giving you full visibility and control over the process.

How it works

1. Start a preview from your flow configuration
2. Select your date range (up to one year of historical data)
3. Let the system process your data in the background
4. Receive an email when your preview is ready
5. Review the results in two tabs: formatted ledger entries and detailed execution logs
6. Make your decision – activate with confidence, adjust your settings, or run another preview

What you'll see

The preview gives you two views into your integration:

Ledger tab: See your journal entries formatted exactly as they'll appear in your accounting system.

Logs tab: Dive into the technical details with execution logs that show you exactly what happened during processing. If there are any issues, you'll see them here with enough detail to fix them quickly.

Ready to try it?

Your preview links are secure and time-limited (they expire after 7 days), so you can review results at your convenience without worrying about unauthorized access.
