Today, companies use an average of 130 different software tools, making seamless integration a standard expectation for your clients. As a result, partnerships and connections between software solutions have become more critical than ever.
On the 19th of October 2024, we proudly hosted the first edition of Connect, an inspiring event that brought together leading Fintech and B2B software vendors for an evening filled with insights, innovation, and valuable networking opportunities. The primary goal of the event was to foster collaboration among B2B SaaS vendors, enabling them to share knowledge and form partnerships that drive innovation in the SaaS ecosystem.
We were thrilled to welcome 65 of Europe’s top software vendors to our conference and networking event, all centered around a key theme: Integration Strategies that Scale. And what better place to host such an event than at the world’s largest startup campus, Station F in Paris?
To talk about the challenges and opportunities of integrations, we were fortunate to have 3 great speakers with years of experience working with integrations: Arthur Waller, CEO of Pennylane, Marco Gires, CTO of Defacto and Nicolas Michel, CTO of Axonaut.
Our speakers shared valuable insights into the increasing importance of SaaS integrations and the common pitfalls to avoid. Arthur highlighted the challenge of meeting the growing demand for integrations, noting that "it's impossible to build and maintain every connector in-house. Finding the right partner is key." Nicolas emphasized the time-consuming nature of building and testing integrations, with no guarantee of success, and added, "working with Chift is extremely beneficial, particularly because of their speed."
Marc-Henri underscored the high costs of in-house integration maintenance and shared what a successful integration means to him: "One key measure of success for an integration is low maintenance. With Chift, we haven’t had to do any maintenance for 1.5 years."
Chift CEO Gauthier Henroz presented updates to our products, which started with the announcement of two new Unified APIs: a Payment API and PMS API (Property Management System, such as Mews). This expands our software coverage to 6 categories: Accounting API, Invoicing API, Ecommerce API, Point of Sale API, Payment API, and PMS API.
Gauthier was also excited to announce that, with the addition of new integrations, Chift now covers softwares from 7 countries. Among the newly released or soon to be released integrations are, for example:
