Connecting PrestaShop to your application lets your users automate order flows, sync sales data to accounting tools, and keep inventory up to date without any manual exports. This guide walks you through generating an API key from a PrestaShop store.
Note: Only PrestaShop versions 1.7, 8, and 9 are compatible with Chift.

Step 1: Find your store URL
Log into your PrestaShop admin, then go to Advanced Settings → Webservice. Copy the URL shown after "Webservice is enabled. Main entry point is" this is the store URL you'll enter in Chift.
If the webservice is not enabled, activate it at the bottom of the screen and save your changes.
Step 2: Create a new webservice key
Still in Advanced Settings → Webservice, click Add a new webservice key, then click Generate to create your API key.
Step 3: Configure the key
- Enable the Enable webservice key toggle.
- Grant GET rights for the following resources:
products,combinations,product_option_values,addresses,orders,order_details,order_payments,order_slip,customers,categories,stock_availables,product_options,languages,countries,shops,order_states,carriers,taxes,tax_rules,currencies,configurations,order_cart_rules,order_carriers,order_invoices,order_histories,deliveries,product_suppliers,tags,attachments. - Select the shop(s) you want to associate with this key.
Step 4: Save and copy your key
Save your changes. Your API key is now ready copy it to use in the API Key field when completing the connection in Chift.
