Chift is one of ten companies nominated for the Rising Star Award 2026, the prize Deloitte reserves for Belgium's most promising young technology companies. The final takes place on 22 October 2026.
A few years ago, connecting a business software product to its customers' accounting data was still a multi month project, repeated for every single tool. Today, hundreds of software companies use Chift to connect more than 50,000 SMEs across ten European countries. That, in short, is the story we told the jury.
What is the Rising Star Award?
The Deloitte Private Technology Fast 50 is the annual ranking of the 50 fastest growing and most innovative technology companies in Belgium. To enter, a company has to be founded and headquartered in Belgium, develop a technology related product or service, and show substantial revenue growth over the past four years.
Why this nomination matters to us
European business software is fragmented by design. Every country has its own accounting tools, its own invoicing standards, its own payment habits. A SaaS company that wants to sell in France, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands quickly discovers that "one integration" really means twenty.
That fragmentation is the problem we set out to solve. One integration to Chift gives product teams access to a growing library of connectors across accounting, invoicing, payments, e-commerce, POS and PMS software, activated in one click. We handle authentication, API changes and data mapping so engineering teams can stay on their own roadmap.
Being judged on potential and scalability, rather than on what we have already shipped, feels like the right measure for that kind of work. Our €10.5M Series A, closed in September 2026, was raised on the same premise: the demand for European financial connectivity is only starting.
