On 15 October 2026, France's leading software vendors joined us for the third edition of Chift Connect Paris. One evening, one hot topic, and a room full of people who build the tools French businesses run on. Thank you for coming.

Why we keep coming back to Paris
Integrations connect software. People connect companies. Chift Connect exists to make the second part easier.
Every year, we bring together founders, CTOs, product managers and partnership leads from accounting software, fintechs, banks and vertical SaaS. The goal stays simple: put the right people in the same room and let good conversations happen.
This year, demand outpaced the room.

E-invoicing, one month in: stories from the front line
The timing couldn't have been better. Since 1 September 2026, every French business must be able to receive electronic invoices, and large and mid-sized companies must issue them. Six weeks in, our panel shared what the launch really looked like from the inside: the real numbers, the real headaches and the real wins.
After an introduction by Gauthier Henroz, CEO of Chift, five people who lived the rollout first-hand took the stage:
- Arnaud Dessein, General Manager Pennylane Connect, Pennylane
- Nicolas Rossato, Network Manager, Sage
- Nicolas Saudemont, Co-founder & Sales Director, Iopole
- Mathieu Perrymond, Executive Advisor Accounting, Cegid / Shine
- Moderated by Tanguy van der Elst, E-invoicing & E-reporting Specialist, Chift
We chose a varied panel on purpose. An accounting platform, two historic software publishers and an approved platform (PA) don't see the reform from the same angle, and that's exactly what made the discussion useful.
Key takeaways from the panel:
- Accountants remain at the center: as production moves from 80% to 95%+ automation, their role shifts to advisory, and whoever concentrates the data will spot the next mission.
- AI won’t make software vendors disappear: context is what makes an agent relevant, and vendors hold it. The market is heading toward collaboration, not disappearance.
- Openness remains key, even for all-in-one players: no one masters every vertical, and how you open and run your ecosystem is what will make the difference.

Networking
From 19:00, the stage gave way to drinks, food and plenty of conversations. We made introductions where we could, and the follow-up messages we've received since tell us some of those connections will turn into partnerships.

Thank you
To Arnaud, Nicolas, Nicolas and Mathieu for their honesty on stage. To every guest for their energy and curiosity. And to the Chifters who made the evening run smoothly.
Three editions in, Chift Connect Paris has become one of our favourite evenings of the year. See you in 2027.
